I wanted to order a mix and match headset for a giant trance x e bike. Since they don't specifically make a 44-66 angle set I emailed them to inquire if it was possible to combine the 2 headsets to make what wanted. They took my request and added to their next batch.
I don't have a long term review for the angle headset yet, but I run their reach adjust on my downhill bike and headset still feels pristine after a season of hard use
Beautiful piece. Chain retention is great and drivetrain was silent. Then I washed out in a corner and broke my ribs. That’s why I’m writing reviews and not riding my bike. Yay
Used the 1 degree 1 1/8 EC44 and it went in great! Works is the only company I'm aware of that offers this solution.
I'm looking forward to my next expedition with less twitchy steering.
Setup was a little fiddly; curious if it's possible to machine a small flat section on the forward faces of the upper and lower cup to make it easier to align them? Masking tape and a sharp pencil work too. Just a suggestion. Thank you!
Perfect for my late 90's GT Zaskar rebuild. All I could find is a longer travel fork (Recon) that still had V-Brake bosses. This headset rakes out the front a little and lowered the stack keeping the seat tube angle closer to original. I bought a $25 headset press off Amazon and it was an easy install. Customer service was great. Cool product.
