Works Components Shimano direct mount oval chainrings with 3mm boost offset offer a number of innovations that set us apart from the competition and all available in 11 vibrant colours. Engineering the teeth to work seamlessly with Shimano 12SPD Hyperglide+ chains.

Good Upgrade

I have 3 ovals on 3 mtn bikes. 2 HT and one FS. I find that ovals are better for the type of riding I do, which is mostly technical trail riding with short climbs and descents. Northeast region. My only complaint is shifting is less smooth/crisp and chainring can be noisy at extremes of the rear cassette vs round. Don't ask my why but this is my observation. This is all on Shim XT drivetrains - no experience on SRAM but I would suspect it would be the same since chain angle would be the same. Works Comp seems to have a well fitting quality product vs wolftooth for about 2/3 the price.
